Travel planning at a glance
Socheonji is a coastal landscape in Bomok named for its resemblance to a miniature Cheonji crater lake on Baekdusan. We suggest 30–45 minutes along observation routes open to visitors; check tide levels, wind and on-site restrictions. Descriptions of clear water do not imply permission to swim or dive.

Operating and access information is based on the official sources below. Recommended routes and visit durations are editorial suggestions. Check each place's description to see whether waiting, meals and similar time are included, and allow separate time for travel between places.

With children or parents, check the actual condition of steps and rocky paths before deciding how far to go. In high waves or when rocks are wet, do not descend close to the water; observe from safe ground.
Water that looks clear does not guarantee safe entry. Do not enter the water or rocky areas, jump in, or collect living things or stones.
