OSULLOC Tea Museum

OSULLOC Tea Museum, beside the Seogwang tea fields in Andeok, explores tea-making and tea culture. Plan free general admission separately from paid drinks, shopping and reserved Tea Stone experiences. It suits a western Jeju itinerary combining tea-field photos with indoor rest.

Travel planning at a glance

General admission to OSULLOC Tea Museum is free; tea, food and Tea Stone programs cost extra. Official standard hours are 09:00–18:00, until 19:00 in summer. Distinguish general visits from reserved tea courses and use only open viewing areas in the tea fields.

Tea fields and roasting at OSULLOC Tea Museum

OSULLOC combines tea museum exhibitions with a leaf-roasting area, a tea café and Seogwang tea-field scenery. Seeing how a cup of tea is made before choosing a drink adds a different focus from an ordinary café visit. Plan general exhibitions and shopping separately from reserved experiences.

The lawns around the main building and paths such as Mansu-gil on the official map are options for tea-field and nature views. Cultivated tea fields are not a park where you can enter anywhere for photos; stay in open viewing areas. Comparing indoor tea culture with the fields outside reveals different contexts and uses behind the green scenery.

Admission, Tea Stone reservations and visiting hours

The operator lists free general admission and standard year-round hours of 09:00–18:00, until 19:00 in summer. Heavy rain or snow may delay opening or cause early closure. This does not mean drinks, food and products are all free, so plan rest time and spending separately from admission.

The official booking page lists the Tea Stone Premium Tea Course as a separate 80-minute program at KRW 60,000 per person. It includes a garden tour, tea brewing, tasting Jeju ingredients and tea roasting; some elements may change in severe weather. Decide whether to make a general visit or add a reserved experience, then check available places and change and cancellation conditions.

Considering companions and weather for tea and tea-field walks

With children, our suggested itinerary divides the tea fields and indoor processes into short visits rather than sitting through every long explanation. Check participation ages and accompaniment conditions on the booking screen. Ask about that day’s café menu and ingredients directly, without assuming a particular dessert is always available.

In rain, you can focus on indoor viewing and tea, but a plan including the fields and forecourt is still affected by weather. The operator restricts outside food and pets inside the museum. Check rules for each space rather than assuming gardens and indoor areas have identical conditions.
