Jungmun Saekdal Beach offers an arc of sand and waves below Jungmun Tourist Complex. It is known for its multicolored sand and surfing, but waves and currents need particular attention before children enter the water. Plan beach walks separately from lessons and swimming.

Jungmun Saekdal Beach combines an arc of white sand, sand of several colors and black rocks. The scenery changes with the sunlight and tide, so a walk alone lets you observe changes in the sand and waves. Although it is in the same area as nearby tourist-complex facilities, account separately for the actual walk down to the beach and back up.
The beach is described as having relatively high waves compared with other Jeju beaches, attracting visitors interested in surfing. Enjoying views of waves and actually entering the water require different preparation. Do not treat sections with sea caves or rocks as unrestricted activity areas; plan your sea-view route within on-site access guidance.

Allow 1–2 hours as an editorial estimate for walking on the sand, photos and rest. Add changing, showers and safety checks if swimming. For surfing lessons, check the product information separately for meeting, equipment preparation and instruction times. Avoid assuming the entire lesson fits within the time allowed just to see the beach.
If you are new to surfing, we suggest checking an operator's lesson conditions rather than simply renting equipment and entering high waves. Before booking, read the requirements for participant age and swimming ability, included equipment and weather cancellations. We do not guarantee any particular provider's prices or year-round lessons here; your plans may change with that day's waves and on-site restrictions.

Do not choose water activities with children solely because the sand is broad and the scenery attractive. Check waves, currents, lifeguard coverage and designated swimming areas, and keep an accompanying adult close by. Prepare sand play and sea views as an alternative when waves are high or outside the beach season.
The official introduction states that pets entering the water are restricted in designated swimming areas during the beach season. Walks with pets also require checking on-site restrictions. Observe access guidance for rocks and caves and the boundaries between surfing and swimming areas; do not take risks by standing at the water's edge for photos. In rain or strong winds, shorten your beach visit and check the route to facilities higher up in advance.

Check the entrance to Saekdal Beach in Jungmun Tourist Complex, the actual parking location and the walking route down. Even if it looks close to your Jungmun accommodation, account for steps, slopes and the walk back. If combining other Jungmun attractions by bus, calculate the distance from each stop to the entrance alongside your lesson meeting time so you arrive on time for your booking.
Daepo Jusangjeolli Cliff offers a lava coast that differs from the sandy beach, while Cheonjeyeon Falls adds a valley and bridge. Both require separate travel and have their own operating conditions, so they are not presented as the same walking route. If surfing or swimming is your main activity, we suggest only a brief additional stop; if focusing on a beach walk, consider adding a waterfall or garden.
