Two views: the airport and the sea
Take in the runway-facing view and the northern coast separately.
Jeju City and the north · Volcanic hills
Dodubong Peak is a low volcanic hill beside Jeju Airport, with views of the sea and toward the runway. Follow the woodland path up to the viewpoints, then continue to Dodu-dong Rainbow Coastal Road to add some elevation to a short Jeju City coastal itinerary.
Travel planning at a glance
Dodubong's highlights are the airport views and the Kisses Zone, where the sea appears between trees. Allow 45–60 minutes for walking and photos as an editorial estimate, with extra time for queues. Even this low volcanic hill has slopes and steps, so wear comfortable shoes and avoid lingering on the ridge in strong winds.

Operating and access information is based on the official sources below. Recommended routes and visit durations are editorial suggestions. Check each place's description to see whether waiting, meals and similar time are included, and allow separate time for travel between places.

From the path and viewpoints on Dodubong, you can watch planes taking off and landing at Jeju International Airport and see the northern sea. The vegetation also varies, with grass and black pines on the south side contrasting with woodland to the north. Explore the airport-facing and sea-facing sides for different views from the same summit.
The Kisses Zone is a photo spot on the side facing away from the airport, where a triangular opening between trees frames the sea. There may be a queue, so take turns with your companions and stay within the designated space for photos. Allow time for the wider views of the sea and Dodu as well as this one photo spot.

Factor any photo queue at the Kisses Zone into your overall schedule.

Our editorial estimate is 45–60 minutes for the ascent, descent and summit views. Allow longer for photo queues or extended breaks; this is not an official fixed visit duration. If combining Dodubong with a coastal road walk, add the time for each. On your departure day, set aside time for airport travel and returning your rental car first.
A suggested walk follows the woodland path up to the sea and airport viewpoints, then returns by the same approach. Descending to a different entrance may leave you far from your car or luggage, so check your route back to the starting point on a first visit. Even if you want to see the sunset, allow time to descend before it gets fully dark.

Do not assume that a low volcanic hill has a level path without steps or slopes. With children or someone with knee problems, walk slowly toward the viewpoints and turn back partway if needed. Do not climb trees or slopes for photographs; stay on the path and leave space around other visitors.
The summit can be exposed to wind and sun, so water and an outer layer are useful even for a short visit. In strong winds or poor visibility, our suggested alternative is a short, level walk along the coastal road instead of an elevated viewpoint. Follow on-site notices about access and entrance conditions, and do not damage plants or woodland to create a photo backdrop.

Check both the actual walking entrance and vehicle access point on a map. Do not follow an arbitrary path uphill based only on the hill's address, and allow separate time to walk from a bus stop to the entrance. Being beside the airport does not mean it is easy to reach on foot from the terminal.
Dodu-dong Rainbow Coastal Road below the hill offers a separate, level walk beside the sea and colorful roadside barriers. If driving west, you can combine it with the horse-shaped lighthouses at Iho Tewoo Beach. On foot, choose just part of the coastal road rather than treating every north-coast attraction as part of one walk.
