Real aircraft and sights in the Astronomy and Space Hall

The Aviation History Hall on Floor 1 displays real aircraft and aviation history. Connecting wings, controls and flight-principle exhibits offers more to discuss with children than looking only at impressive aircraft. Display aircraft are exhibits; visitors cannot necessarily board every one.

The Astronomy and Space Hall on Floor 2 introduces the history of observing the sky, space exploration, the solar system and future space topics. Set different priorities for companions interested in aircraft and those interested in stars and space. Themed halls, screenings and play areas may operate differently from permanent exhibitions.

Aviation History Hall

See real aircraft and flight technology together, connecting aircraft types with technology in everyday life.

Astronomy and Space Hall

Explore displays and explanations about stars and space exploration, dividing your time by interest.

Visiting with children or infants and planning for rain

Start with one subject that interests your child rather than trying to explain real aircraft, flight principles and space displays all at once. Distinguish infant-area age limits from other activities. Not all equipment in the same museum is available to young children or included in the same fee.

The museum is an option for a mainly indoor rainy-day visit, but outdoor aircraft and walking from parking are affected by weather. In heavy rain, focus more on indoor exhibits. Companions concerned about dizziness or intense video effects can check activity and screening characteristics first and choose general exhibitions instead.

The museum entrance and an OSULLOC-area itinerary

Find Jeju Aerospace Museum at 안덕면 녹차분재로 218 on a map. Search the facility name too to avoid confusion with the airport or other aircraft exhibitions. Bus travelers should separately check the walk from the stop to the visitor entrance and the return time.

The location combines well with the OSULLOC area, but allow for travel and parking between the sites and time at the museum. If activities take a long time, choose a short tea-field walk or drop the next stop. Deciding first between general exhibitions alone and added activities clarifies your western day itinerary.
